Why do you think minerals and groundwater aren't distributed evenly across the world?

                  What I think about how minerals and ground water are not distribute evenly around the world, is some places around the world don't have water of ground water naturally and minerals can have the same thing, some places have more than others judged by the environment and where you live. Examples like where I live we have plenty of ground water for our well, but places like flint they have to pay to have city water. The same thing goes for minerals, some places have more than others, some don't have any at all.
