How and why do you think Alfred Wegener knew to look for the lines of evidence he ultimately used to support the Theory of Continental Drift?
Alfred Wegener knew how and where to look for the lines to support the continental drift theory, how I think he did this was he looked at a globe and saw that the continents were like a puzzle, so he took a map and sailed to those places to see if it was true, that's what I think he did to see if his theory was correct. How I think that he wanted to was that he heard certain minerals are in areas that usually didn't have them, and the thought that glaciers where around was not made at that point so I think that he wanted to travel to these places to see if the rumors were true.
